I had the best experience with Mortonouro and Lauriaan. This is our first time buying a puppy and I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder. Lauriaan gives you daily updates of your puppy and keeps you informed on the process. We are incredibly happy with our little golden, he is the most handsome boy. I love how much she loves her golden retrievers and cares for them with 100% of her love. She has raised our puppy amazingly and he has been such a breeze to potty train and teach. I would definitely highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a golden retriever. Thank you so much Lauriaan for our lovely Koda Bear.

Thank you so much for the fabulous journey that you gave me with my first puppy, 3 years ago, and now again with the latest addition to our family. Little Becker is all I could hope for. He’s handsome, friendly and playful and has won the hearts of not only Gary and me but Becker and Trixie adore each other and our whole village is waiting to meet him next week after his final Parvo vac. I am so, so happy to have found you Lauriaan. You have been so much more than a responsible breeder. You have demonstrated enormous care, love and devotion towards the demanding undertaking of breeding these fabulous dogs. On my part, I have loved witnessing the daily progress of these small babies from your many thoughtful photos. I could not have wished for a more dedicated breeder and would certainly recommend you to any responsible doggie parent. Becker is growing big and thriving. We recently got little Cooper from Mortonouro Golden Retriever’s. He is the sweetest pup with the most comical personality. We received constant daily updates and pictures from Lauriaan (even before they were born!). Her dogs are very well cared for and you can see are extremely loved. We drove up from Cape Town to fetch Cooper and received a little goodie box with some favourite treats, poo bags, toys, a blanket that smells like mom and siblings and best of all a giant elephant toy which Cooper loves!
We also received a file with his pedigree name on very neatly organised with his vaccination booklet, his parents lines and information, his personality assessment that they did at 7 weeks, a really cute birth certificate, his siblings information, his contract and a space for when his KUSA certificate arrives.
Thank you Lauriaan! We love our pupper and are excited for the years to come.

From the very beginning, adopting our puppy from Lauriaan felt incredibly special and personal. We received daily updates on the puppies, including photos, videos and messages, which made us feel so involved and reassured every step of the way. It was clear how much love, time, and attention went into raising them. Our puppy came home confident, well-socialised, potty trained and happy — a true reflection of the care and dedication he received from day one. Lauriaan was always available to answer questions and offer guidance, and the support didn’t stop once we brought our puppy home. Lunabelle and Barnaby
We have had the best experience with Lauriaan and are now blessed with two Mortonouro goldens - Barnaby and Lunabelle. They are the most wonderful dogs, with incredible personalities- exactly what you want with a young family. From the very start, when Barnaby was a tiny puppy, Lauriaan updated us, cared for him, and packed him off to our home (even driving him down to KZN!!) with a cuddly elephant to make sure he was happy when he arrived. Then the very same for Lunabelle. The quality of lineage and breeding practice is second to none. We would definitely recommend Mortonouro.

I very highly recommend Mortonouro. From the very beginning, Lauriaan’s communication was excellent, with constant photos and updates that made us feel involved every step of the way. We were welcomed for a visit at 4 weeks, and it was clear that the puppies were raised inside her home with lots of love, toys, enrichment, and excellent socialisation. Lauriaan also conducted temperament testing at 7 weeks to ensure each puppy was placed in the most suitable home, which really shows her commitment to responsible breeding. She made every effort to place our puppy according to our preferred gender as well. Even after we received our puppy, Lauriaan has always been available to answer questions and offer guidance. Our puppy was lovingly raised, fully registered with KUSA, and came with a comprehensive folder containing all the puppy’s and parents’ information, a vet book, and a beautifully prepared puppy hamper filled with toys, treats, a mommy blanket, and more. A truly exceptional breeder who goes above and beyond for both her puppies and their new families

Lauriann did such an amazing job. She sent daily video clips and photos while she was raising him, and it was great to watch him grow from afar. She's super diligent in her breeding protocols. Lauriann has gone above and beyond in exposing him to experiences, noises and socialising him. His demeanour is calm and relaxed in terms of unexpected noises, yet he is alert, he enjoys other dogs and is super friendly with people. He's been great with toilet training. I would strongly recommend Lauriann to anyone interested in a Golden Retriever.

We cannot speak highly enough of Lauriaan at Mortonouro Kennels. From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional. Lauriaan welcomed us for visits before we received our puppy, Daisy, which gave us so much confidence and insight into how much care and intention goes into raising her dogs. She conducted temperament testing with the puppies, taking the time to truly understand each one and guide families toward the right fit — something that speaks volumes about her professionalism and genuine love for the breed. The kennels themselves are immaculate and thoughtfully designed. There are beautiful outdoor play areas, dedicated puppy playgrounds, indoor spaces, and an incredible level of sensory exposure.
